The Cat Fanciers' Association considers a severe underbite to be a fault. If severe enough, it can be a disqualification. Tongue-tipping, also a fault, is often associated with underbites. Allegedly, some cats can be trained to keep the tongue in the mouth. Underbites are very hereditary, as is tongue-tipping. So it is important to know what is behind the lines as far as crooked or undershot jaws - it may be passed on.

Tidy Cat Scoop -- Multiple cats

Tidy Cat isn't known as the Mercedes Benz of cat litters, but the "Multiple Cats" label caught our attention, as did the large package (35 pounds). And we were quite pleasantly surprised with the results. For the money, this litter is the best we've seen. The clumping is great, and the grains are not too large, nor too fine to get caught in our kitties' paws. While the odor control didn't quite match some other more expensive brands, you can make up for this with other products (i.e. air fresheners or specially made cat litter deodorizer). We have two cats using the same litter box, and were so happy with this litter that we've already gone back for more.
