O.k.  Autumns dad is dilute and Whiskers dad is dilute, what are my chances of getting dilutes in a litter? Their last litter were all dominates.

I'm also trying to decide if I should get a bi-color red, bi-color cream, red smoke or cream smoke male.  I want the red factor, but also want dilutes.
My other females are a bi-color cream and a calico smoke that carries dilute.

Any advice and help would be wonderful! Cheesy

Michele,

As you already know both Autumn & Whiskers automatically carry dilute since they both have one parent dilute in color.  However, they are both dominant colors so you do have increased odds for dominant colors but dilutes are certainly still a distinct possibility.

Since you want both dilutes and the red factor, I would suggest either a cream bi-color or cream smoke male to increase your chances of producing dilute kittens with your two dominant colored females.  And of course your cream bi-color female bred to a cream factored male will produce 100% cream colored kittens.

Tracy,
Thank you! I am leaning toward a cream smoke to have the best of both worlds- smokes and dilutes. Cheesy

Good choice Michele... cream smokes are absolutely beautiful!   OR maybe you could find a cream smoke bi-color male??  You would have a bi-color, smoke & dilute all wrapped up in one cat. Smiley

I've always loved the smokes... especially smoke bi-colors.  I would love to get a black smoke bi-color in the future, preferably carrying chocolate.
