Woke up this morning to a destroyed cage, more ick from her butt, and now calling me!!! I also think I saw her have a contraction while standing in front of me. Should I let her out of the cage of leave her in?

Morning!! Hope you got coffee first! I would leave her in her cage now. If she is in labor - you don't want to be trying to move her if she starts in heavy labor or giving birth. Good luck! Linda Fultonblue Persians & Himalayans www.Fultonblue.com

Just had another strong contraction. They seem to be 3-5 min. apart!

She ate the placenta and ignored the baby. He is not moving much and not nursing. She seems more concerned with her back end then with the baby.

Clean him and keep him warm. She is probably busy concentrating on having another. Lynda

As soon as he comes out and the mamma does not clean the face, you must ASAP, even if he is still attached! Just take a very soft wash cloth and clean that face, nose, and mouth very gently! Extremely well!

You must always have another birthing bed with heating pad on low or digatal heating pad on "stay on low". Sometimes moms will sit, lay, step, or even bite to kill if she has a hard labor pain and/or delivery pain. You put babies wih mamma in between babies. Keep an eye in her nose, when it squinches up, she is pushing!
