Michelle, put a baby monitor on high in there with her and clip the other one on you.  That way you can go about your day without being in a panic!  Sorry I forgot that trick!

Some time between 2am and now 7:33am, Zira gave me another fat baby, a white one!

After I have my first cup of coffee, I will be able to see better!  I would like to say it is/should be a himie, but by now, everyone should know that my babies reach waaaaaay back in the gene pool and suprise me!  Or I have Angels that are having fun with my Persians!  Either way, me happy!

Wow, Dawn!!! That is so cool.

I don't have a baby monitor anymore. The kids I watch are between 2 and 6 yo. My kids are teenagers. I check on her about every hour or so. She is eating and walking around. If anything happens I will shout! Cheesy

Good morning all.  Just checking in - hoping Linda's and Dawn's babies and mamas are doing well. And waiting on Autumn to join in the fun...

Well, it's 1pm and Autumn is laying next to me listening to the birds sing and the neighbors dog bark. No wet behind yet, but she is very lovey. Today is day 60 and we still have 4 days to go, so we are just hanging in there.  Cheesy I just worry, with losing the plug, if the babies are ok. It's been 4 days since she lost her plug.  :?

Ok, I have a question again. When I pet Autumn and run my hand down her back, she raises her back end like she did when she was in heat. Is this normal??? My daughter noticed it and I passed it off as no big deal, but she has done it to me a number of times today.

I can't get over how much she loves her belly rubbed. She just can't get enough. Cheesy

Hey Michele,
It's normal! I will say I am glad she's waiting, I would much rather she had full term kittens for you.

When you were pregnant with your daughter and about to deliver, did it feel good to have your back rubbed!   OOOOOO Yes, it is a must do here!

Thanks ladies! With the plug being gone, could she wait until Monday or is that too long? My daughter is getting antsy waiting! She keeps asking what you all have said. She is looking for any sign that she will give birth today. I am too, but understand how important it is that she wait as long as possible.

I agree with linda the closer she gets to 63-65 days the better...I know it is tough waiting and watching but those litle buns in the oven need a little more cookin' Cheesy  :flower:

I was in prelabor with my son for 4 days till it actually happened, so I am sure some animals could do the same.   My dogs also started losing there mucus plugs days before  pushing time, so don't worry. First timers always seem to do things slower too.  You'll be playing with those fuzzy butts before you know it!  One stray preganant cat I took in, that would never come any where near me most of the time jumped up on my lap and broke her first water sack right on my lap! Ewwwwww!

I would think that as long as those babies are still moving she'd be fine.

Please I do hope someone corrects me if i'm wrong.

Take care Michele I know the waiting is terrible. But these extra days may be the difference in you having to had feed them every 2 hours or so and Autumn being able to take care of them on her own mainly.

LOL
