The night was a quiet one. We all got some sleep and now ready for the busy day; taking my son to Dr.s, making strawberry jam, running my day-care, and delivering kittens. YES, I will be very busy. I doubt, with the noise of 5 boys under the age of 6, she will have then during the day. I will keep you all posted on her progress. Thank you all again for your support. I really need it today!!!

Michele,

You and I are doing the same thing.

I have a first time mother/queen that is due on 22 June.  I am on pins an needles and not going anywhere!  She is sooo full of milk, she is leaking.  She is also driving me nuts over which birthing bed she wants, she will go to one and come meow at me, then repeat three more times!  I go to look at each one with her to try and figure out her issue(s) and I can't find anything wrong!

So, yours is either early or dates wrong!? Mine is in her box waiting. She is not leaking milk but they are full!!! She looks more like a cow then a cat. She has been going from place to place in her cage too. It's just a waiting game. Sad

The date on mine is good!  We are having babies togeather!

I learned to put mine in the condo for breeding for 4 to 7 days.  So by doing this, I get a better time frame as to when they are due and I don't have babies born undeveloped (still born) because the sire keeps "bonking" as long as they let him.  This gives me a 2 to 3 day possible delivery time before the 22 of June considering she stayed in for 7 days.

Now this is not to say that I still don't get the occationly "OMG, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN", because they are like kids, if they want something bad enough, they will find a way.  And daughter and friends forgetting to lock the condo and a few times after getting out an playing with the stud did not help the matter much either!

I know just what you mean. I wonder if that is what happened here. I put them in the cage on and off from April 20th to the 23rd. BUT, they might have been together a week before. My neighbor thinks that she saw them together, because my daughter had the male out and didn't think that Autumn was in heat. So, that is what I think happened. Today is day 57 but I still say that I could be off by a couple of days. I'm doing some serious prayers that that is the case. I would hate to lose the first litter.

She is laying in her cage doing nothing. I feel like I am watching grass grow.

We're hanging in there. She is still sleeping in her cage. I'm the one pacing now. I am going to go make some jam to get my mind off things.  Cheesy

I just gave a his and hers, male and female kittens, to some friends of mine as a wedding gift!  Talking about two extremely tickled pink people!

I think they bought out PetSmart for those babies!

I was going to give one to my mother for her birthday. She has a shaded silver, but I am sure she will fall in love with one of these guys! I think she has had every color Persian there is.

Autumn is just laying around. Part of me wants this thing to move along and the other wants to wait just in case I was right on the dates.
