Ceylon, I am so sorry about this.        I could never be a breeder for this very reason -- and I admire anyone who can.  :flower:

I am sooo sorry for the loss.  Definately one of the hardest parts of breeding is loosing little ones.

You have my deepest sympathies.

I hope you do not mind me asking while the pain is so raw
but besides the Mom not caring for the kittens do you know why the passed over the rainbow bridge?
Did they suckle at all on the Mom and perhaps had opposite blood type?
It would be good to find out if you do plan on mating her again in the future.

Sending you hugs,
Diane

Hi Ceylon,

My deepest sympathies to you and your friend about the lost kittens.

I empethize deeply because this has happened to me about 2 years ago too.

The happy side in my case was that the litter the newbie mom had a year after that was very successful and they all lived. I believe that this will happen in this case too.

It's a problem with new moms...  sometimes the price of learning is a bit high.

I'm sorry about your loss.   What a heartbreak!!!
I was in that position last weekend. It was very hard and happend just like it did with you. I fed them and one by one they died. My female was afraid at first, but then learned to love them. Her other problem was that her milk didn't come in. She was also 3 days early and a first time mom. She had 2 bi-color blacks and one had a ring around his tail. He will be missed! Sad
