HI GUYS.......I NEED SOME ADVICE.  SOON I WILL GIVE COCO HIS ANNUAL LION-CUT AND I WAS WONDERING, WHICH ARE THE BEST CLIPPERS IN YOUR OPINION.  I HAVE PURCHASED SO MANY, ALWAYS  GIVING THEM GREAT REVIEWS, SINCE THEY ARE ALWAYS GREAT AT THE BEGINNING, BUT I NEED A REALLY GOOD PAIR OF CLIPPERS THAT WILL STAND THE TEST OF TIME.  PLEASE, ANY RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED. :flower:

Perhaps it's not your clippers that aren't holding up but, your blades. Dull blades of course won't work as well. You may want to just look at replacing the blades, or if battery operated it just may be the batteries aren't holding a charge any more.

I am going to be getting clippers that I can use on my dog also. I was told by someone who worked for a vet to get horse clippers they work better. What do you think?

can't say I've ever used horse clippers, I do know the blades I use won't do my dog though.

i ordered some clippers. oster golden A5 off goodmans.net i dont recommend that website as of right now though because when i ordered my clippers it said in stock. then i get an email saying its on backorder. I cant get ahold of the company over the phone and they dont return emails.I looked up thier company at www.bbb.org and they are a legit company..just frustrating that i have to wait. it was 116.00 for these clippers that sell for nearly 200 elsewhere. it comes with a #10 blade and i ordered a #7 blade. I need clippers to do a sanitary clip on my some of my girls. i have some human clippers i have used, but it very difficult to do.
