Saw an ad for a mobile groomer that comes to your house -- the idea has some appeal in that your pet has the groomer's full attention, no car/crate stress for the kitty, and they don't have to be around other pets.  but then again, it all depends on the groomer and how sanitized they keep things, I guess...

I haven't tried one but it sounds like a nice idea. I saw a mobile grooming truck driving around recently but don't remember their name now! I wanted to call and get their rates.

Snowy does not enjoy her time at the groomers!

the only mobile grooming I do is catching the cat to be groomed......I swear they know it's their turn!

Had to laugh at that, I can spend 30 minutes looking for the one I want to wash or then I get fed up and grab someone else who dosen't see it coming.

I have tried one once for Ginger. The result was the same as in a regular groomer but I wasn't overly happy with either...she was still oily behind the ears. I'm sure it would have been fine for Maddie and Bailey who have the dryer fur but I do it myself now...I know Ginger's coat and where she needs the most attention placed (plus with 3 it would get pretty expesive   )

I looked into using a mobile groomer but I never found one that was recommended by someone I knew.  I decided not to unless I found someone who would make a recommendation.
