I have a female that is giving birth tonight. As you know, their tail gets messy even though they lick it. what should I do afterwords, give a bath or just towel wash her off?

Congrats on the new litter! I try to not mess with mama and babies too much the first couple of days as they settle down into their routine. I would just get off what you can with a dry towel, change her bedding and let her be for now.

If I want to hear the pitter patter of little feet... I'll put shoes on my cats!
