Okay, probably an odd question, but is there such a thing as a chocolate tortie or dilute version of lilac and cream?

Not an odd question at all Jaycee.  Yes there is such a thing as a chocolate tortie.  The lilac-cream is the dilute version of a chocolate tortie just as blue-cream is the dilute of tortoiseshell.  These four colors make up the Parti-Color division of the Persian in the CFA.

I have a good breeder friend that has both a chocolate tortie and lilac-cream.  I will see if she will post pictures of them when she gets the chance.

OMG I'm in love with the chocolate tabby and lilac tabby! Thanks for posting that. I had no idea how many varieties of "chocolate" there were!

You're welcome.  Yes the chocolates and lilacs come in a variety of patterns.  Of course my favorites are the bi-colors and calicos with the smokes coming in a very close second.

It's easiest to remember because the only difference between a Tort. and a Calico is the Calico has white, the tort. does not.

hi,choc tortie is 1 of my favourite colour,even better with tabby markings,I just love it...choc tortie and lilac cream also exist in himmies ,even choctortie tabby and lilac cream tabby Tongue
