I just finished reading this article about a Mexican cattery's quest to develop Cinnamon Persians.

A very interesting read I think.  I sincerely hope Cinnamon & Fawn Persians will someday be accepted colors in the CFA.  I think a Cinnamon Bi-Color would be gorgeous!

That is a great article of Arturo's path to his Cinnamon Persians. What I am shocked to hear is Secret developed Pyo. This is a disturbing way for me to get an update on My girl. She's Ceylon's Shhh Don't Tell! of RiviKats. I could just cry

Yes naturally you can produce Cinnamon & Fawn Calico's. I'm sure we'll be seeing that in Arturo's future.

I'm just sorry for my baby Secret. I'm glad to see she's recovered and gave Arturo what he's been dreaming of... But I feel like I've taken a kick to my stomach having to find out this way.

I'm so sorry too Ceylon.  I was totally unaware that Secret was bred by your cattery.  I'm glad to hear she recovered though.

Thanks Guys.
Granted it's hard for me to hear of the Update this way BUT...
It's my problem.
Don't take the focus from Arturo's work. He has worked hard to create Cinnamon Persians and deserves all the pats on his back for it. In a small way I'm proud to see my lines behind his dreams. I don't share his Cinnamon dreams but I am happy to see him so close to his vision. We had many conversations on his path to his Cinnamon Persians and I like many others said " NO don't do this or that" along the way. In the end he followed only his heart. I think the reward is much bigger for him. He has earned his rewards and applause from whom ever is willing to listen to his journey and even for a brief moment (agree with this creation of Munchkin/Persian lines or not) appreciate his hard work, dedication and vision. Enough from me.

Personally I truly admire the hard work and dedication he has put in towards his goal of Cinnamon/Fawn Persians.  I sincerely hope his dream turns into reality soon.  I certainly wouldn't mind working with Cinnamon/Fawn Bi-colors/Calicos somewhere down the road, but for now Chocolates and Lilacs are my true love.
