Approximately one week to go before the arrival of BonBon & Noir's litter... both are chocolate carriers and both are 1st time parents.  Wish us luck and please keep your fingers crossed for a chocolate tortie or lilac-cream girl!!

I will be sure to post a birth announcement soon after the babies arrive and will share pictures after the kittens open their eyes.

That's an exciting litter for you. I look forward to hearing all about them and getting to see photos. I'm still up nursing my babies. Once Cannella starts nursing them and they are on their own, I'll work on taking photos. Till then, I feel their lives are too much up in the air. Fortunately everyone is doing well with our hand feedings so far Smiley

Thanks so much to you both. Smiley  I just hope all goes well considering BonBon is a first time mom.  First time moms always make me a bit nervous.  BonBon's grandmother, mom, half-sister and aunt have all been wonderful moms so I'm hoping she will be the same.  Lynn, I wish you good luck with your litters too.  Please be sure to give us an update after your litters arrive... pictures are always welcome.  Ceylon, I'm glad to hear your babies are taking well to hand nursing.  Hopefully Cannella will take over for you very soon.  How is she doing today... any improvement?  And please do share photos of Cannella's little ones after the danger point has passed.

Thank you Jaycee... I'll be sure to share photos of the new babies.

Ceylon, thank you and no babies yet.  Mom is resting as comfortably as possible as I type this... she is big.   Her due date is not until September 1st but I'm keeping a close eye on her.  Now wouldn't that be something if she actually went into labor on Labor Day!

That too reminds me.... My daughter was due to be born on Labor Day. I Loved the idea because.... as you got it too.
Sadly for me my Dr. literally scheduled to induce me the DAY AFTER because he wanted his day off. Humph!

Believe it or not this will be my first litter of 2008.  It took awhile for my black choc. carrier boy to figure things out.

I wish you the best of luck with your September litter.  Ooooh lilac calicos... such a gorgeous color!  I know they will be as beautiful as their daddy Racer.  How excited you must be about this litter.

No babies today.  I just checked on mom-to-be and she is sleeping.  I'll give another update tonight if anything changes.
