am feeding my boy persian and indoor mixture of royal canin, tried throwing in some wet food since he has gotten this urinary tract infection, but he not care for it too much..Would love to find him something good for him that he likes, and a little cheaper would not hurt either..

Which Royal Canin?  I've been using a combination of Iams Lamb & Rice, Eukanuba Lamb & Rice, and Royal Canin Persian 30.

The Persian 30 is shaped perfectly for the extreme faced babies.  Persian pick up the food with the bottom of their tongue by curling it under, thus the flat, football shape.  Persian 30 is also higher in fatty acids, which we need for the Persian coat.

I've had issues with coat, because Cheshire has one like a mini-wooly mammoth,

Hope that helps!

Purrs & hugs,

Julie
