is it normal for a 12 week old kitten to act lethargic after his first shot ..he got the shot last night and was sick around 2:00pm threw up yellow bile and now this morning hes just laying around not wanting to play and usually he nover lays around

While it is normal for them to be a bit lethargic after a shot. The throwing up in concerning and the fact he's STILL lethargic now a day later. I would error on the side of caution and take him back to the vet to make sure he's not having a bad reaction to the shot - it can happen sometimes.

I agree. Usually they get a bit sleepy and then the next day they are perky.

I agree with Linda & Jaycee.  Please take your kitten back to the vet to be on the safe side.  I hope your kitty feels better very soon!

I agree, i would take him back to the vet just to be safe Cheesy  Hope he feels better!
