I dont have well water but I  give Nozomi and Mozart bottled water.....my question is this good or bad and why?  I dont drink tap water , I hate the taste of it and everyonce in a great while it smells odd to me.  Is bottled water missing anything that tap water has to be beneficial to cats??

My neighbor thinks I am off my rocker for giving my cats bottled water :?

Mine get water filtered by their fountain thing. I think it works like the brita thing. I'm not sure if there are minerals they need from tap water that they can't get from food.

My Vet feels that distilled water is bad as the minerals are taken out but filtered water is good. Unfortunately I can't afford it with two dogs also drinking it so mine just get tap water.

My kitties get filtered water from refrigerator. I wouldn't care about any minerals they get from water just because they drink very little (I never see them drinking!) and get most of the moisture from their food. But they are on a raw diet, I might be more concerned if they were on dry food.

I think if I were on well water I would do the same thing.  Bottle water is definitely safer, and while it's a bit of an expense, much cheaper than a vet visit would be.
