Thank you everyone for your sweet comments about Lacey. I guess I should have been more specific...I have had one other lynx but she was a pet -- her nose was very low so I couldn't even consider keeping her. So Lacey is the first show quality lynx baby. She is rotten! And so sweet! Reminds me of her mother with her temperament. I will post more pictures as she grows...I am very excited about her. Thank you again!!!

What do you look at to know if your kitten is a lynx point?

History, isn't lynx points suppose to be a rare kitten? Is there a site I can go to to see samples of cat coloring and descriptions for the pointed Himalayan? Also, i mated my flame lynx point to my black color point carrier persian, what colors could i have with her babies?

No I do not consider Lynx points to be rare at all. Your flame lynx -- do you know if he is an agouti male? If he is not agouti then you can not get tabby point kittens (which is essentially what a lynx is).
To be able to tell if a himi is a lynx point -- They will have baring on the face...white lines on the rim of the ear and the whitish eyeliner (peteki (sp?)) around the eyes. Lacey has the white line on the ear and the baring on her head...and the peteki around the eyes. This is not easy to see on a himi until they are about 2-3 weeks old and sometimes longer. It took me awhile to be positive that Lacey was a lynx.
For you breeding...Color possibilities are....
Males - seal, blue (if chocolate and lilac carrier those colors also possible) points or solid black and solid blue. If tabby gene is there then you have lynx of all point colors possible as well as blue and brown tabbies.
Females - tortie or blue cream (chocolate tortie, lilac cream) points or solid tortoiseshell or blue cream, if tabby gene is there then brown or blue patched tabbies possible too and lynx of all pointed varieties.
