I have some very nice carriers.

I use the 2 Door style for soaking cats in shampoo for bath time.

I'm huge into color options on anything I purchase. I've been that way my entire life. The ones I own are Maroon, but they have gone through many color options since I purchased mine approx. 9 years ago.

I also own some nice soft sided yet strong carriers. I've literally stood with all of my weight on the frame of this and it won't budge.

Now this has gone through several design styles and colors as well. Mine are Maroon (again) and come with more pockets and details they have since removed. I do not like the bone design they are using right now BUT... it's still as strong.

Now I also enjoy traveling in style. Heart
Providing I'm not flying, Or packing too many things for a cat show, I've just purchases 2 designer carriers that I'm totally in love with! Ohh La La!~
These are by Vera Bradley.

(I can't share with you the photo, but I can provide you with the link.)

I now own the Peacock and Capri Melon. I have my eyes on the beautiful Petal Pink and may purchase a 3rd one. They retail for $97.00 but if your an E-bay shopper you can generally purchase them around $40.00 plus shipping.

Hope this helps!
Sincerely,
Ceylon

I don't have one yet, but I would like to get the Sleepy Pod- it's a bed and cat carrier all in one- the top opens and closes and they make the bedding extra plush. You can also order a heater attachment with it for your car.

If anyone is looking for an ideal carrier to take their cat on an airplane, either to a cat show or whatever- I want to recommend they look into the small size Tutto rolling carrier. I bought mine when I decided I needed to take my rather large (over 10lbs) girl GC RW Rare Earth Symphony-of-Destruction to some cat shows that had to be flown to last show season. The Tutto looks like a regular carry on piece of luggage and though I'm not advocating anyone try sneaking their cat on board without paying, that is exactly what we did!  No one knew I even had a cat with me. I was able to find the Tutto at a really good price here:

Be warned, it's not cheap, but it will really save you from having to lug your cat through the airport and the small size fit under every flight we went on (US Airlines, Continental and Delta).

I like the PetMate Kennel Cab Carriers ...  I use the medium size for Tosca.  It is about 24 inches long (vs 19 inches long for the small).  It used to belong to my Shih Tzus.  The spare room is actually great for Tosca as he can stretch out any way he likes, he can sit close to the front or if he wants privacy he can retreat into the back.  Tosca loves walking into his kennel cab carrier so there is no problem.  For those more reluctant to go in (or get out of) a carrier, I would recommend a similar carrier except one that is top loading (as well as front door) ... as shown in 1st pic in Ceylon's post above.
