I love the FURminator Cat deshedding tool.  I read lots of good things about it and it works great on Coco.  This FURminator deshedding tool is highly recommended.    :flower:  :paw:  :apple:

There are so many combs and brushes in the market, so I was confused as to which one I should  purchase .  I ended up getting Coco the "Easy Groom Comb".  I use it daily for ten minutes....and it works very well.  Plus, you cannot go wrong with the price.....it is $5.99 US Dollars.    :flower:  :paw:  :apple:

I'm a fan of the greyhound comb. Works wonders on a reluctant kitty!

I asked Coco's groomer what clipper she had used to shave him down, and she told me that she used an Oster 078005-010 Golden A5 Single-Speed Clipper.  She says that it works great and is not noisy; perfect for severe matts.  It costs around $121.00 US dollars, and you could get it at Amazon.com.  I am saving to get me this one.  :flower:  :paw:  :apple:

I like the slicker brushes for getting out all the loose fur in my kitties coats.

 Have you ever trimmed your fur-babies' nails and cut off a lit bit more than you expected?   ........Well, a product that is a must have in a kitty household for grooming is the "Kwik Stop Professional Groomer's Kit".  It quickly stops the bleeding; you never know when this product might come in handy.    :flower:  :paw:

You must try these inexpensive kitty wipes.    These "Multi-Purpose Hygienic Wipes for Cats by Petkin" are terrific.  I just purchased the "scented Bath" type, but they come in other types, such as "Shed Reducing", "Hairball" and "Allergy Relief".

Original KittyWipes - Keep your cat fresh and clean in one easy wipe.
KittyWipes make it easy to have a clean, fresh-smelling kitty. Heavy-duty wipes measure 5" x 8" and contain a combination of cleansers, moisturizers, vitamins, herbal extracts, baking soda and a light fragrance. They're great for everyday cleaning, wiping dirty paws, and wiping away the dander and excess hair that can cause human cat allergies. No water or rinsing means less stress for your cat. Petkin wipes are alcohol free and 100% non-toxic to pets and people.

These could be purchased at Petsmart.com   :flower:  :paw:

i wholeheartedly endorse the FURmintator.  it's the only grooming tool that Phoenix doesn't fight me over.  i use it very gently and don't go over the same place twice, so I think it must feel like a massage to her....it collects so much undercoat, reduces her hair ingestion

i got mine on amazon.com for $18.50 and got free shipping because I got a book, which put my order total at $25, which is the minimum for free amazon.com shipping. I've seen it in the pet store for $37, which is still worth it, IMHO, but why pay more? Smiley
