Something that I use in Coco's litter, and that I absolutely love is the Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Deodorizer.  I sprinkle some in Coco's box, and not only does it absorb urine, it also smells great.  I highly recommend it.    :flower:  :paw:  :apple:

Ever so often over the years a cat has strayed and peed on a piece of clothing.  I tryed Bleach, Borax and assorted box soaps and liquid soaps.

I found by accident that plain old dish soap will get rid of male pee smell with out damaging the cloth.  All you have to do is soak it for 24 hours in a bucket with a squert of dish soap and all is new.

For carpeting, Simple Solution offers a great product.  Food stains completely lift up without the need to get out the heavy Bissell carpet cleaner. Smiley

Hi
Interested to know if anyone has tried a product called: Urine-off.
It seems to be based on fact & a lot of research & recommended by vets.

Cynthia, it looks like a good product and it comes with the blacklight.

I could of really used it back in 1991    Simple Solution also references that it can be used for urine stains but I wouldn't know if it works since I haven't had this problem since then.

It does leave a nice clean smell afterwards. Smiley

Thanks Celeste for your post, think I will get some tomorrow to try. Just got a couple of spots that I can smell, I hope to get the backlight a bit later on sounds like a really useful tool.

Cheers

A word of warning about enzyme soaps.
I used some on my carpet once and got sores on my hands afterwards.
This stuff must have mutated or was more aggressive than I ever expected.

Hi! I had been having trouble with odors on my clothes (co-workers complained and I got wrote up 2 times) so I noticed one of the earlier post about using dish soap.  Well, we were in Marsh and noticed that Palmotive Dish Soap had an Odor Eliminator in the dish soap so we bought it.  Then we went to the laundrymat and added it with our regular laundry detergent and it worked great!!  Neither my husband nor I smell anything!  Now, lets hope people at work agree!! Hi! I would like to recommend Febreze Pet Odor Eliminator.  It neutralizes Pet Odors in Fabrics. Febreze has several types of sprays.  One for fabrics, couch, chair, etc. Extra Strength that you can use on clothes, Bed linens and covers and in the car.  And Febreze Air Effects Air Fresher that has a Pet Odor Eliminator that eliminates odors and freshens the air.  It comes in regular scent and Lavendar vanilla & comfort.  It has the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval on the bottles.   I have them all and they work!!!  It isnt cheap.  They are 4 and 5 dollars apiece and you can get them at Wal Mart or Marsh. That is the only place we have found them so far.  But my bosses are happy now so I am a very pleased customer. Cheesy  Cheesy  Cheesy   Linda
