This was a really long and short weekend.  I was up all night finishing my daughter's clothes for a pageant she was competing in on Saturday.  This is a new pageant for our area and it a part of the Miss America organization.  They were competitions for 3 titles, Miss Lakeland (Cool, Miss Florida Sunshine (17) and Miss Florida Sunshine Outstanding Teen (Cool.  33 contestants in all.

My daughter won the Interview portion for Outstanding Teen and she won the title of Miss Florida Sunshine Outstanding Teen.  They did not have an award for the teen talent  portion.  She sang "The Girl in 14 G".  

She will be competing in the Miss Florida Outstanding Teen Pageant in July during the week of the Miss FLorida.  She is such a theatre girl that I was really surprised that she wanted to compete and is very excited.  The 3 title winners are going to receive a Disney day and will be in the Animal Kingdom parade courtesy of the choreographer who works for Disney.  All 3 girls are very excited.

Last year she did 7 musical theatre shows.  I was hoping this year would be different but I wasn't expecting this!!!

what a beauty and you make her clothes, you are great, I use to sew my girls thier outfits til they got around 10 or 11. She is not  only very prettty, but talented and kind . Mom should be very proud.

Thanks everyone!  I was really surprised that she was okay with not doing some of the musical theatre shows this year.  This year will be spent on polishing herself.  She is most excited about working with a personal trainer for 2 months.
