Awww Judy....

I know it seems hard I could just let him go and it was, but, when you breed you have to make those kind of decisions sometimes, and it was always my plan to have him go to a home that would appreciate and care for him.

It was also very flattering that a judge would think enough of him that she thought he would be an asset to her own breeding program.

She has already sent me updates and he was very good on the trip to her house and is eating well.

Congrats Linda on a wonderful show weekend!!!  Was the decision for Rags a last minute thing at the show or did you bring him knowing he was leaving?  That is awesome that he has gone to such a great home!  And I too would be very flattered that a judge would find my kitty to be an asset to their program.  Very cool!

I know it is hard Judy -- but as breeders making hard decisions seems to be what we do alot of.  Rags is in good hands I'm sure.

Another TICA show, in Atlanta, first weekend of April. Won't be going to a CFA again until after the start of the new season - and that will probably be the Atlanta show also.

Heather - it was a last minute decision for her to take Rags - she had come over to my benching on Sunday and we were talking - she noticed I had two seal points (I had brought Rag's brother to try to sell him as a pet). She asked why I was selling the brother as a pet - I said feel that head!! Does the Rocky Mountains proud! So that's when I said Rags was also available as I had his dad and grand dad and wasn't real fond of seal points anyway. To which she answered she LOVED them - so I said you want him?? She said REALLY? So we are trading - him for a girl from her (something in my water prevents me from making my own girls!)

I did place Rag's brother also.

Will see you in Atlanta in May then!
