Hi all and thanks to Mari as well as Lucy and Coco for the greetings!

I have three wonderful Persians so I am a true Persian lover!  My oldest is a 13 year old Blue Cream named Jelica and my two "babies" are Mocha (a Seal Point Himalayan male, 7 months) and Eclair (my 5 month solid white female baby).  Oh, I love them all so much!  My little Eclair is a grooming challenge though, I must say!  Oh, those eyes are work, work, work!

I posted a question elsewhere on the site, before I was a member of this group..yeah!, about a small patch of silver on Eclair's head.  It didn't show up until she was 3-4 months.  I've heard of "skull caps" on white kittens but it seems strange that it didn't show up until she was older.  I hope it goes away even though I'll love her no matter what!  Has anyone else had this happen?

Nice to meet a fellow group of white persian lovers!

Cheesy  Cheesy Hi,

Welcome to the group!

It is great fun and great to have other Persian lovers to ask all sorts of questions.

Dear Susan, Edair and Babies,

Great to have you here. Edair, tell Mommy to get you some Eye Envy, it will clear up them buggie-looking eyesies!  Cheesy  Tell Mom to get the one you keep in the fridge, not the Herbal one... no good for White Fuffs!

The little silver patch is so interesting, Hon, how about a pic :?:  I, for one , would love to see it. I have only seen little black markings on the heads and it is called a 'van'  Please post a pic :?:

Your Babies sound sooo precious and it is great to have you here

Huggs, Mari and all the Florida Fluffs!

Thanks for the posts everyone!  I would love to attach some pictures but I can't figure out how to do it on here!  I have a small avatar on my profile of 2 of my babies but I have seen others post larger pictures.  Is there some technical help on here?  I tried to click on "Img" above but it didn't help.

I actually think that the silver on Eclair's head is probably a mixture of black hairs and white hairs!  sorry about the mistake!  I read somewhere the other day that it usually goes away by 9 months when the "adult" fur grows in.  I love her little baby cottony kitten fur she has right now!  I'll have to check out the "eye envy".  It looks like I don't take care of her right now and I wipe her eyes 2-3 times a day!

Welcome Eclair!

You are right, the eyes are work, but I find Eye Envy very
good.

Years ago I had two white kittens that had black "skull-caps",
they did eventually go away without a trace.

Mary and Vanna,

That's good to know about the skullcaps.  It really isn't that big and she's still beautiful but I hope it'll disappear.

I'll have to try eye envy.  I tried Castle Bath's duo of cleaner/powder though I admit I don't use the powder enough.  Do you know if Eye Envy is better?

Thanks for posting!

I am unfamiliar with Castle Bath products but
most of us here can vouch for Eye Envy.
In fact I believe the company should give
many of us here a bonus for advertising their
product.
