It's been a while talking to you, but a lot happened! Kim and I seperated, he lived with a friend for a while, but  he moved back to Indiana to be with his family, his father passed, never had any contact for nine years! The same people that did not want to have me near them because I am not American' . The old man told Kim' If you leave with that foreighn woman, you are dead to the family" OK??? Now I am the pig in the fairytale, I destroyed the family! He did not even mention, he would not take their calls, I had to deal with the PI that was stationd outside my front door for days. The police removed him! What kind of 'people' are they!?Huh??

I am still livid about his suggestion in an email... to have my German Shepard put down, find homes for my 'kitties' did not even use the word Persians and get my fat backside  to South Africa!

My Children are mine and we are so much better off without him. I was under the impression, he loved them as much as I do.... was I wrong! I have to say, we are doing fine.....I am working my butt off and have little time for the computor, my time is with my Babies! They are sooo good! Even my impossible Lucky Charm, they all know we must work together and they also understand, Mommy loves them so very much!

We lost Laika, my beautiful Choc point, Saturday a week ago, terrible, but the vet was on the phone with me while I was doing CPR on her and told me to stop, after about thirty min. She was gone and I was not able to bring her back. My Laika just had a huge heart attack, I feel so guilty, I tried to get a knot out! She died! I did not know she had a heart condition. She was one of my foster babies!  The vet called me on Monday to see how we were doing, and said something so kind to me. He said, that The Lord took her straight from my arms into His she will always be loved now, never hurt again.

I just wanted to give you an update on what is happening. We are fine and always will be. God is and always will protect me and my children!

Huggs and kisses,
Mari and The Florida Fluffs!

Mari,

I'm sorry for all you have been through these past weeks!  I hope things improve for you now.

Those heart conditions can be sneaky.  My sister in law took her 12 yr old Maine Coon to the vet for a lion cut and she died afterwards.  Apparently she had an unknown heart condition and the stress and tranquilizers killed her.  I worry about my 14 year old because she won't cooperate for much grooming anymore but I'm scared to take her to the vets as I KNOW they'd have to drug her to work on her.  By that age, you just don't know what hidden conditions are present. It was not your fault and I agree with the vet...she's in heaven now!

I wish you the best!

Dear Susan,
Thank you so much !

I have the joy in bringing these so very neglectet Persians back to what they should always have been! Beautifull, gorgeous Fluff Puffs!  When I loose one, it breaks my heart! I do know, that when they leave for the Rainbow Bridge, they leave, being loved!  It does not matter how long or short their stay was with me! They are Mamma's Loves!  The vet is right, there is no go-between, God takes them from my arms, into His!

Heart conditions are very sneaky, you are so right!  That is what Laika had, underlying heart condition!

Just be carefull, if I knew what I know now, I would have left that silly knot!

Huggs,
Mari.

Mari, what shocking news.  I am so sorry, families can
be so very strange.

We know how much you love your pets, and the very
idea of putting any of them down is so mean, and
hurtful.  I just don't know what to say.
