Hey everyone,

Wow, I haven't been on here for a while. My last semester for school is really killing me so I've been lacking in my internet life.

I've been so busy that my everyday combing of Linc has turned into 3 times a week if I'm lucky. His underside gets horribly matted even though I force comb him everytime there.  People like to pet his belly and it just gets worse by the day. Also, shedding season has started for him and it is just ridiculous. He has an extremely fluffy cotton coat and it just STICKS.

Anyway, I've set up an appointment for him to get a Lion Cut tomorrow morning with some professional groomers without sedation. Everyday I look at him and think, "Oh my God, what am I doing?! His fluffiness defines him!" Then I reassure myself that it will grow back to normal before I know it.

I'm writing to get some recommendations. I've heard that I should not get the tail cut because it takes a while to grow back? I've also heard people tell me not to get his ruff cut? Help! It's his and my first time! We are both LionCut virgins!

Cheesy Hi,

I was wondering what happened to you and Linc a Dink?

Glad to have you back. Lion cut is actually very cute if the groomer knows what she/her is doing.

Only his body must be shaved down, not his ruff or the little boots around his legs and most definately not his tail.

If you just want to keep the worst grooming places in control then only get his tummy and bum shaved when his coat starts growing back.

At the moment Pablo is growing his coat in for the winter but is booked for his tummy and bum on Monday. Then, no hassles!
