This morning my daughter went to say goodbye to Frankie before school since she would be at her dad's the next two days. He had passed away in the night...she was devastated and stayed home from school today  :cry:

Oh Karen, how sad, this news. Right after the happy ending of him being found from his little escape.
I'm so sorry to hear about little Frankie. :cry:

My sympathies to your daughter. It's just such a painful thing to lose a beloved pet, and for our children.. our hearts ache for the sadness this brings to their hearts.  

I dont know how long hamsters typically live, but doesnt matter if a pet's expected lifespan is 2 or 20 years... we are never ready for the sad parting. :cry:

Thank you everyone. I just felt so bad because she was the one who discovered him. She has been loving on Bailey all day :flower:

I'm so sorry to hear about poor Frankie.
And for your poor little girl too.  Give her lots of
extra hugs today.  I'm glad you let her stay home
from school.  The loss of a pet is a sad thing.

I am very sad about Frankie Karen!  Poor little guy.  The loss of a pet is so hard.  Hugs to your daughter and tell her I'm sorry about Frankie. :heart:

Awww, that is just so sad..
I'm so sorry about Frankie, Karen.
