Thanks everyone.  It has been a long week.  He was first diagnosed with kidney issues last February 2008.  When he was in the doctors office he was jumping on the sofa, walking around talking to everyone.  The vet had a hard time believing that he was 17 1/2.  Then he slowly went downhill from August on.  Last night was really hard because it was so quiet in the house.  Even though we have 5 other cats.  Ice Man was always the one that was talking.  Even tonight it seemed weird because I could actually hear the TV.  Ice Man went through 6 moves and from Virginia to Florida with us.
