Eventhough it is Halloween and I love this holiday. Plus, I got to give my girls their own special little "treat"... My heart broke again this morning...

I told you all that there were a lot of feral kittens around our neighborhood... Most too wild to catch or rescue... Even if you did, chances of them being rehabilitated in time were slim and they would be destroyed.

Well, this morning, I was crushed to see that one of our favorite little wild ones had been hit by a car!! He/she died but someone cared enough to at least get them out of the road so they didn't get smashed beyond recognition. We buried the poor little thing.

I was just thinking how sad it was. No one would mourn them... No one loved them... Such a beautiful grey and white DLH. It had beautiful green eyes.

It just made me sad that it didn't have the life it should have had... Safe, loved and warm. Poor little baby!!

Oh the poor little thing. Life can be so cruel sometimes.
At least somebody took the time to move it and you gave
it a decent burial. That was very kind of you.
Poor little baby. How sad.

Now this little one can play at the rainbow bridge without fear, hunger, or pain. I'm glad that in death he/she finally found the kindness and love he deserved his entire life..

I've done my fair share, of picking them up with a grocery bag, and burying them...just so they know, someone cares.

There are many who do love you, little one - and our babies are playing with you now, up around the Rainbow Bridge. No need to fear anything, anyone anymore - you are safe now!!! You have my tears and love, little one. Be free to have fun, without being hungry, being cold - and most of all, you are loved and have friends now.

RIP little grey & white DLH green eyed feral kitty! You were a little treasure and you lit up your little corner of the world with beauty and warmth. May Heaven hold a warm place for you where you are comforted, pampered and treated like the little Prince/Princess you really are. So sorry this world was harsh on you sweet little baby ...

o that poor little kitten please know that at least you tried to help them and make sure you they were safe and loved god bless you cats should be treated the same when dogs are knocked down and be reported as well so their owners can give them a decent burial

i had a bichon frise up untll last year and sadly she passed away due to my disability i cannot walk for long periods and i had a persian cat years ago and i would like another if i can find a breeder in belfast
