Now I can post pictures I can do this.  My Monster died at age 13 this summer.  He got cytozooanosis (Bob cat disease) from a tick even though he had frontine on.  He was an outside kitty as we had owned him since a kitten but he started spraying on everything in the house and we could not find a medical reason for it.  So he lived on our deck and pretty much stayed there and in the backyard as I did not want to put him to sleep.

He was a huge cat and very loving and I miss him. He was like a dog and followed me everywhere talking away. I bought him home and we buried him in the backyard.

He had gone missing for a day and I knew something was wrong, I found him the next day and his temp was 107 so I rushed him to work and we got his temp down.  As he had a catheter for fluids I left him there overnight and the girl doing kennels called early the next morning and I knew before I answered he had gone.  I felt so bad because he was there even though he needed to be.

Susan, I am so sad to hear about Monster, I think I remember when you told us about his being sick and losing him. It does not matter if they are inside or outside cats, what breed they are, it hurts as much. It takes a long time to not feel the pain each day but it will and You will have all the good memories of him and his spirit by your side.. many prayers and good thoughts coming your way Pat
