This year, we're introducing a new photo contest in conjunction with the annual Halloween Costume Contest. Many of our members have lamented the fact that their cats are uncooperative with costumes, but they would still like to participate in a holiday-themed contest. So we are proud to present Harvest Hoopla!
We invite you to snap a photo of your cat posing with any harvest-related props. Ideas include pumpkins, squash, corn stalks and falling leaves. Color scheme suggestions include oranges, yellows and browns. All participants will be displayed on the Harvest Hoopla page, but the Persian-Cats.com members will choose a winner. The winner will be featured as Persian of the Week from November 10 through November 17.
Costume restrictions: We will not accept digitally-altered photos. (You may resize or crop the photo, but please do not "paste" props or decorations onto your cat's picture using a photo editor or graphics program.)
Entry deadline: 9pm (eastern time) on Wednesday, November 7
Voting: Members can vote all day Friday, November 9 (poll will be open on Friday night until 11pm eastern time)
