I think my first one was Blind Faith. That was an xmas present. The first one I ever bought I think was Bad Company by Bad Company (their self-titled first album). I still have them both but don't play vinyl much anymore. My receiver actually has a phono input (it's old) but I have nowhere to put the turntable. I should try to hook it up some day. I have a box full of old blues and rock LPs.

My parents had alls orts of classical music and also for us kids fairy tales read by a very impressive and strong voice I still remember from the Frog King "Heinrrrrrrich der Wagen brrrricht" and my own first music disc was Barry Ryan "Eloise".

Then BeeGees and Beatles, Peter Paul and Mary only when I spent my senior year in the US in Michigan.

Waht a fun thing to remember.

When I was young my aunt gave me my first 45 record.
I don't believe it ever made the charts. It was called
Tinkle tinkle tinkle. And yes, it was a song about going to
the potty.   Then I got one called "I'm a little
Doll". I still remember the words. As I got older I moved on
more popular music. Having two older sisters they were the
Keepers of the records in our house. Boy is thread bringing
back memories! :D

My sister was, and still is matter of fact, the music person of our family. She started when she was about 12 I think. She's into every genre where I'm strictly country. I'm more into reading.... That's why I never know the songs ya'll talk about and have to go to utube to remember, LOL.
