I get this turkey with stuffing at Trader Joes and Alaska loves the turkey so much. In order to try to strip it of anything she shouldn't be eating I put it in water and heat it in the microwave for 20 seconds letting it cool a bit and putting it over her regular cat food. She eats EVERYTHING. I am very pleased as her appetite seems good and she has not been vomiting as much (knock on wood). She does drink more water and urinate more. I will take her to the Vet to see how her kidneys are functioning tho she seems well for her 18 years (at this point at least) and her very light weight (slightly under 5lbs last visit to Vet). I know pretty much with a cat this age that things are what they are so I'm just happy to see her doing well for now.

I swear Puffy can smell turkey lunch meat from miles away. And Chunk can smell string cheese from miles away. It is their FAVORITE treat!!

I'm happy to hear Alaska is doing well. I say, if she wants the turkey, give that princess the turkey!!

So good to hear Alaska still has an appetite and loves
to eat...
Dolly loved turkey as well, and ham and chicken and beef, and cheese..LOL!
We have been eating leftover baked ham all week, and everytime I take it out, I almost
look for her to be pawing at my legs begging for some :)
Give your sweet girl some snugs from me...

Joan

Still no turkey dinner at Trader Joes that Alaska is used to so picked up a fresh turkey with cranberry breast that had to be cooked and it was yummy .. and Alaska likes it too tho not as much as the other turkey dinner (with preservatives  )! Difference is the one that Alaska likes so much is about $10 cheaper than the one I just bought... whatta picky gal she is!

Not picky -- discriminating!
