It's genetically impossible to get red/cream females unless the mom shows some form of red or cream AND the dad is also red or cream in color. So yes, all babies with this particular breeding are males. The reason for this is because male kittens always inherit both color genes from their mother, so they will always be the some form of mom's color (red) or the dilute form of mom's color, cream.

Yes, but remember I said males from these parents would be red or cream... not females. :)I don't work with silvers/goldens as I'm a bi-color and chocolate breeder but I do know the possible colors/patterns I can get in any particular litter I have, so there are no surprises here. ;)Anyway, I do know that a chinchilla silver is basically a black cat with both the agouti (tabby) and inhibitor genes. A black male bred to a red female gives you tortie females and red males as well as blue-cream females and cream males, if both parents carry dilute. Like I mentioned previously, I've never worked with the silver/golden genes so I have no clue as to what effect the golden gene carried by your silver boy would have on his offspring. I think it's possible to get silvers (and possibly goldens) of both sexes from this breeding. Perhaps a silver/golden breeder will come along and give you further info on exactly what colors/patterns you can expect with these parents while I stick with my bi-colors and chocolates. ;):)

yes, we know now with this mating that the colours are golden, red & cream. With our new solid queen, we would expect blues & silvers maybe whites ;)
