This is not exactely an introduction - since I have been an a member of this website for well... forever. And yet active only on and off.

So to the oldtimers hi again! and to the newer group - nice to meet you!

Hi Alon! I just posted something you said about cat grooming a few weeks ago--you said you used the dryer to get the loose hair out of your cats. I got a metro dryer and noticed that a TON of loose hair blew out of my babies while I was drying them. I can see how that is a useful tool, or would be, if mine weren't so frightened of the noise. I guess I need some kitty-sized headphones for them.

Wow, Denise, people are still quoting me here...? gee now I really start to feel like a kitty 'Guru' But I guess 13 years of breeding Persians would do that to just anyone

Anyway, just that you know, I have two dryers at home. One big professional one - that is indeed very noisey - but gets the show cats (that can stand it) look like huge fluff balls... but I also have a smaller hand dryer that is really quiet - for young kittens and for cats that are just too timid.

When I got this hand dryer I actually asked the store manager to operate several dryers so I could hear how loud they were. He did indeed think I was a TOTAL freek - but since he wanted to make the sale, he did it for me. It's worth while trying if you have a nice electric appliance store owner around

And Barbara - Calico is my favorite color of cat in the whole wide world!!! and the one on my avatar is Cherry! I will be showing her for her titles next month.

I now have 3 Cali girls at home and I think they are AMAZING (sorry, no modesty or proportion here when it comes to Calicos). I love these girls so much that I just want more!!
