I have a darling dom. calico from Sire:CEYLON'S READY OR NOT HERE EYE COME & Dam: GO-TEEKATZ QUEEN-OF-SPADES.
Racer is a carrier of the chocolate & lilac gene as most of you know and Queenie is a pure female so she doesn't have the chocolate & lilac gene.
I really like the dom. calico I have in her litter so I DNA tested her to see if she was lucky enough to inherit the gene and the results are in!
B/b = Full color, carrier of brown. So I got very lucky! Looks like my kitten is here to stay. Her name is going to be Ceylon's Paint by Numbers. I know you haven't got to see any pics of her yet. I'm hoping to begin taking pics soon.

Bella's Test Result is in now too.
Her name is Ceylon's Poetry in Motion AKA: Bella
Dam: CEYLON'S DADDY'S MONEY Chocolate Tabby Bi Color
Sire: CEYLON'S READY OR NOT HERE EYE COME Cream Bi Color, lilac carrier

A/a = Offspring can be agouti or non-agouti depending on the
genetics of the mating.
So now I know Bella is a Tabby. I can only see faint tabby markings on her when I bath her. When her coat is dry and full I can't see any tabby in her coat at all. This will possibly hinder her show exposure. After all, She isn't going to get high marks for her coat pattern if you can't see she's a tabby what so ever. But at least I have her DNA test to prove she is a tabby.

How exciting to know that she carries the genes that you want to include in your program!

I don't understand all the genetics, even tho you explained, but it sounds like you have just what you want in one but not the other. Congratulations on your new baby, it will be exciting to see what you get down the road. As for the Tabby, okay, I relent, you can send her to me, tabby marks or not :D
