Well it was a LONG drive but we got the car back home. We woke up early and had breakfast at this nice place in Nyack NY...and got to the guys house at 11am. I was amazed what good condition it was in. The outside of the car is close to mint. The inside needs some cleaning but overall very nice. I started it up and it was so load took a minute to get used to it lol. Drove it around the block came back put my tags on it, did the paperwork and left. We drove around new york...287 and then down 95..for those of you familiar with the roads on the east coast. Stopped once for lunch and gas and that was it. Took 6 hours. Thankfully did not attract any police attention because I had the tags from my avalon on it and no front tag. eek! lol. Home now and so it has to sit until I get temp tags then the adventure of getting it through inspection.

I drove up from Maryland so I came up through Baltimore, Wilmington, DE, Philadelphia, up past Princeton and then to Parssipany and then north and east on 287 to Nyack over the Tappan Zee bridge and then west to Trumbull, CT.

We were pretty agitated on the trip up because google maps told us to take rt 202 or 206 or whatever through princeton. All 3 routes went that way. It was a one lane road and it took us a painfully long time to get to 287. On the way back we stayed on 287 all the way around to 95.

We exit 287 to drive to Arlene's in Allendale.
We get on the 287 off of 84 coming from Danbury, CT
on the way down to Florida, and on the way back from
Florida, we get on 287 somewhere after or around Allentown, PA.

It looks great and I am glad you got it home ok.

When do you leave for California, I can't remember .
