I want to buy a new cat tree for the kitties...Gordons birthday is (I have decided) sept 4th and Miss Muffins will be 5 on Oct 3rd. So I figure it's a good time for one. I want one with more than one "house" and one on the ground level for muffs who isn't much of a jumper. I have one picked out but wanted to see if you all knew of any websites I should check before ordering the one I have picked. Petco and petsmart are no option they are twice the price of those online...and although building one would be fun I don't have the time for that with school.

So leT me know if you have any suggestion. I'm excited to order one because the cats really love the one we have in the computer room so much they fight over space on it!!! Gordon is king of the cat tree!!

I just bought my cats a new condo for downstairs. They have one from Angelical Cats in the family room. The one I bought is this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/73-84-cat-tree-condo-furniture-gym-KATIMANJARO-/170531030170?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item27b471049a#ht_3824wt_1271

It took about 2 weeks to get here, but it is well made and is easy to put together. The cats love it. Angelical Cats has very nie ones and they are super solid. They are expensive, but I have had this one for 7 years and the one upstairs is close to 25 years old and it is still standing. It needs new carpet, but that is all. Be very careful buying a plushnone or one that is super cheap. I bought one of those and it lasted a few months.

This is the one I am looking at...I have seen some really nice ones I would love to have...this one...

http://www.kittymansions.com/amazon-cat-tree.html

really caught my eye but I am trying to keep it under $150 just because I have been spending SO much money lately...our anniversary is on Sept 9 and we are spending money on that and I am in school which we are paying for instead of getting loans so I am trying to get something nice for that amount. When we move to a bigger house they will probably have their own play room and I will be able to get them something super nice (because I will have a job by then will help too lol)

Have you tried www.drsfostersmith.com? They tend to have pretty good prices.

BTW I'm jealous!

Just google cat trees or cat furniture and lots of sites selling cat furniture will pop up. It pays to shop several sites to compare prices. Many of the sites sell the exact same products. Just make sure what you buy is stable enough to hold your cats. I have two Armarkat cat trees/condos that were reasonably priced, were easy to put together, and are wearing pretty well. All my cats love them.

Those two look great....love the second one but I know Jasper would eat all of that greenery

we made one that cost us about $75 to make and then got another one for about the same price at Costco. Check ebay too....most of the sellers offer free shipping...or the tree is only a few bucks and the shipping is higher.
