Well I just finished bathing Nancy's babies. She's a wonderful mother in most ways. She never leaves them, they never leave her. They are fat rollie polies, but could also be described as crispity, crunchity peanutbuttery babies. This is because Nancy never cleans them

. I don't understand it myself. They were the dirtiest babies I've ever seen. It's always risky to bath kittens so young, but I was left with no choice. Taking a slightly damp warm cloth them them daily just wasn't getting the job done right. The other Nancy babies news is, all 3 of them are starting to open their eyes! I can not wait for time to pass over the next few weeks so we can see if we have any odd/blue eyes looking back at us.
Ava's babies....
Clean, healthy, rollie polies for sure. None of their eyes are starting to crack open. Strange as they were all born on the same day but I'm sure they are just a few days behind Nancy's litter. The 2 boys look very nice and typey. The lilac smoke calico has made slight improvement, but I seriously doubt she'll ever improve enough to be shown. Time will tell.
Queenie's babies are beautiful! I sent off the dom. calico's DNA test today to UC Davis to learn if she carries chocolate. If so we'll likely be keeping her. The black bi color male is the prettiest baby I've produced in a long time, however I can't keep him so I've not DNA tested him. I think he'll make a pet home very happy. My husband and daughter can never seem to keep him out of their arms.
