Bluie is showing her age, she seems to at times , does not know where she is,,, I say,
Bluie , mommie and daddy are here. and pick her up , in a short time, she is herself again, Dr K believes them to be petite malls seizures. She is doing good aside from being bored to death.

MaMa keeps surprising us. It has taken me a long time, but she comes to me, now , but is very wary and cautious. The first few times. she would walk in a circle and the back up to me as if to make sure she could get a way. Now if I hold my hand out , she comes, still very wary,, she likes me to pick her up and hold her close , for the first time, she has started kneading her little toes.. on my shoulder. Bluie goes down and sits and watches her more, seems to becoming more interesting in her.... :paw: :paw: :paw:

Pat,

I hope that Bluie is just still a bit in hibernating and therefore likes her snoozes!
MaMa shows you her love and that is very good!

Give both your furkids a hug from me,

Birgit

Does Miss Bluie yowl pitifully in loudest off key voice ever? That's something both Winston and Alaska got into in the later years.. Winston could be heard next door.. Alaska has quieted down a bit since Lola's return. I wonder about TIAs in cats (transient ischemic attacks) as happens in humans as they get advanced in age and blood flow to the brain is diminished a bit. Tiny infarcts affecting blood flow although there have been times I wondered a petite mal seizures in AK too re her sort of fixation at nothing and rather frozen position with lack of responsiveness.. Alaska seems to be quite alert and on top of things most times tho once in while she seems to not know where she's at even with me calling to her.. bending down and petting her seems to reorient her or at least make her respond to me.

Sounds like Mama cat is progressing nicely with being a house kitty and trust  I hope Miss Bluie is accepting of her now and in their own way they are good company for each other.

:flower: MaMa cat is so happy to be with you and John. Bluie is getting older but she is a fighter. Sparky does the same thing at times. She sits and stares at the wall. We know she is an old gal and we do what we can to keep her happy as you are doing with Bluie.

It is hard to see them start to have issues. I hope she does well for a long time.

Mama cat is making good progress, so glad she is now safe.
