I'm wondering if Aletta will chime in here, she has recently moved from
South Africa to the Sudan. Regretfully I'm ignorant of the differences if
any in the climate of those two countries.

Winston is adorable, no wonder you love him. I would think as long as
you are able to keep him inside you'll be fine. The other question you
might look into would be the availability of veterinary care.

I wish you luck with your move, sure wish Canada had a southern
place. Oh wait! I think it's Florida. ;)

Here we get very humid summer temperatures here and I find the cats will find cool places to sleep, where there is a breeze or fan as has been suggested, or even under the bed is a nice cool spot.

Just make sure plenty of water is available, and perhaps talking to your own vet they would be able to offer more suggestions.
Winston is a gorgeous boy that's for sure. Good luck with whatever you decide.

Another thing to check before you make the move
with your sweet Winston, is if there is any quarantine
for pets.
I'm sure you would not want your sweetie to be in quarantine for
months, as some countries require...

Purrs,
Joan
