OK...Amy just called and said that ALL her teeth need to come out! My heart just breaks for my girl...but I agree with Amy, we need to be sure we stop this discomfort! AND she has a growth on the back left side of her jaw that is about the size of my pinky from tip to the first joint -- Amy is going to remove it and send for biopsy but believes that it may just be inflamation because that mouth is SEVERELY inflamed. I feel awful she is going through this...but I have always done her dentals like clockwork...but this is just so bad it is best to take everything for her own comfort.

Pray for my girl...she is going to through way more than we expected today! Bless her heart!

OH, Heather. Not the news you want to hear. I am so sorry. We will be praying all day.

I know that Dr. Amy will take the best care of her and she will probably feel SO much better after surgery, even with the post-op pain. I know she'll have a good pain med and you guys will be up and running again by this time next week.

That would have made me really upset if Alaska needed all her teeth pulled. I sorta feel badly that I haven't followed the Vet's recommendation to even have her teeth cleaned at age 18. I'm just so afraid that she'll not do well with anesthesia... tho Fair .. wow all her teeth! I know she's home with you now as I read that so I do hope she'll be feeling much better and doing much better too!
