I don't care for mysteries, but Kathy Reichs books are supposed to be quite good. They take place in Montreal, too. She works in forensics here part of the year.

And enough snark about my poo spreadsheets, Joan. ;) Anything that keeps the explosive diarrhea from reccurring works for me.

Try the Dixie Hemingway Pet Sitter series by Blaize Clement.

Tomi and I have both read these...oh and Tomi, I just saw that she passed away so there won't be any more.

I loved the cat sitter books, I hadn't heard she passed away.. I very sad :(

I like mystery series - Joanne Fluke - Writes a mystery series and she owns a cookie bakery, the book has recipes AND murder!! Now I am reading G.A. McKevett, she is a female PI, she has 2 cats she always writes about. Sue Grafton and the alphabet mystery series. Laurien Berenson has a mystery series, she breeds and shows standard poodles, AND finds dead bodies and solves murders! I could go on and on... I like to read.

I need a new series to read. I've read the Outlander series twice, all the Janet Evanovich novels, and all the Sookie Stackhouse ones as well.. I just finished Hunger Games and wasn't a fan. The last book was ok.

Any suggestions? I like series because I go through books in about two days...

I just got back from the Hunger Games movie and didn't care for it much.

Kira, I agree with Joan on Ken Follet. I loved Pillars of the Earth and World Without End. I'm also a big fan of Anne Rice and her Vampire Chronicles. There are ten books in total and there are also her series of the lives of the Mayflower Witches.

I got the Mayfair/Mayfield? I can't remember the name, the Witch Series by Anne Rice. They are kind of scary so far!! I was feeling in a fantasy mood at the time... Lately I've been falling asleep immediately after I start reading so I'm not very far!
