I have been feeding a little black & white kitty at work outside the garbage dumpster for weeks, and just named it my little black & white kitty. I have one veteran, because I work at the veteran's hospital in montrose N.Y. , that goes with me everyday to feed kitty. Today I was told by another vet that a cat was found dead on the fence. I pray to god that it is not my kitty! I went to feed him today at work , and did not see him or her. I am so worried it was my cat!!!! I will chech again tommorow.

I pray it is not your kitty also. If he comes back can you take him to a shelter.. I will never understand humans, they see a defensless animal and tortore and kill them. why? the only reason dogs or cats are out there is because of humans. These are not a species that evolved by choice... prayers for you Pat

I was off Friday & Saturday. I'm back to work today thank god it was not my kitty!!!!!! Put some food out and there it was. I was so worried . I would like to have it caught and taken to a shelter, however there are 2 things that concern me. 1. there are houses out back and I don't know if it belongs to someone ( eating out of the dumpster I wouln't think so.) 2. I wouldn't want it to be taken to a no kill shelter. They say there is a women that comes around and catches them and either takes them to the shelter or finds them homes. It's difficult because there are alot of ferral kitties here but several of us do our part in feeding them in different areas of the hospital campus. I will try to contact the woman.

I am so glad it was nor your kitty....but still pittyful for the one that was hit by a car.

Sounds perfect to me to try and contact the woman who feeds the strays, maybe put up your phone number close to where you feed him? Maybe there is a chance to spay/neuter and release and have him wear a collar that states he is taken care of, so no one will catch him and put him in the kill shelter.

Purrs,

Birgit

That is sad for the other kitty but I'm glad that you have found yours.
