Autumn-Purrs God's Grace, "Gracie" gave birth to two beautiful dilute calicos this morning. I woke up to her growling and noticed that she had had a baby on her own (3.9 oz baby). She was in the middle of giving birth to the second one and not having an easy time. By the time I warmed the first baby the second one was born (2.9 oz.). I got the two of them cleaned up and warm and then changed Gracies bedding. I put the two of them in with her and she loved on them. She has not been out of the box once. I think she is going to be an awesome mom. My only concern right now is them nursing.
I will post pictures when they have their eyes open.

I went back in to check on them and what I thought was a dilute calico maybe just a blue and white. The other is a dilute calico for sure. Gracie doesn't like me messing with them so I didn't spend a lot of time looking. The next question is if the blue and white is a boy or a girl.

What is the color of the mother cat and the father cat.
That will give you a clue as to whether the blue and white is a boy or girl.

If mama (gracie) is a calico/tortie/dilute calico, then it could be either.

If Gracie is red/cream or a red/cream variant, then a blue kitten couldn't be a boy.

correction a blue and white couldn' t be a boy if the mother is red/cream and the father is black/blue

Thank you all! Mom is a dilute calico and dad is blue and white van. The kitten could be a boy or a girl. I will check when mom calms down and I know they are nursing. I bottle fed them a few minutes ago just to be sure they are stong enough to nurse.
