I just got my first beautiful Persian cat as an adult yesterday. She is my second the first I had as a child. Her name is Ebony or Jewel depending on who you ask. Lol. I'm not quite sure what color she is when I get pictures up I'll post one. She is an almost white gray then has varying shades of dark gray. She is absolutely darling and sweet. When I got her she was shedding something fierce and matted quite badly along with earmites. Well shes all cleaned up now and trying to adjust to her new home this is her third home that I know of and I hope it will be her final home. I think I'm going to go with Orjen cat food as they have the most awards. She was on Friskies for the love of GOD! I expect to see a great change in her coat and to anyone else who has their cat on a quality food how does it work for shedding? I know my pom sheds next to nothing.

Ebony or Jewel sounds like a sweetie-pie and I'm looking forward to seeing her photos.

Hi there! Welcome to the site! Can't wait to see pictures....she sounds like a shaded silver or a silver patched tabby but i'm no expert :)Sounds like you are taking better care of her than she has had before...thank you for that!

My cats eat Solid Gold Indigo Moon grain free dry, Avoderm wet and raw chicken or beef with pumpkin.

Hi there, I'm feeding my two boys Royal Canin Persian 30. The pieces are small and rounded to fit the Persian cats mouth better. Both my boys and my one previous Persian like it a lot. I have been purchasing it at Petco.

Would this be your pretty kitty? If so, she appears to be a silver tabby.

Such a very pretty kitty! :flower::flower::flower:

Not all cats tolerate diet changes, but mine are ok with this, so I alternate Orijen, Felidae and Natural Balance dry foods.

Mine still eat RC kitten, they are 4 :?I was going to change to Orijen but that has been put on hold. They also eat Wellnes canned.
