I remember we drove to a state park when it was dark to see Hale Bopp, the comet.

Both have nice "depth"... what was missing in mine.

I managed once to get some nice rising full moon pics, but knew my super moon shots woulnt really turn out, since it was high in the sky at the time.. and I had no "background" for it... trees, cloud, etc. for clarity. Looked more like a light bulb than a moon... :lol:

Check this pic out, Cat! Obviously a professional photo, using various methods to produce this eye-popping effect. Dont know HOW they got it looking so gigantic though. It looks kind of... surreal... out of science fiction movie

I was so mad that it was cloudy here and I could not take pictures.

That last picture there was probably a photoshop where they got a nice close up of the moon and layered a picture of the city on top of it.

Ah!! I hadnt thought of that! Photoshop can create anything..
