I'm so sorry to hear this, as I've been through it. I had a four-paw declawed half-Persian escape in the middle of a blizzard. She was gone for 7 long days but then reappeared in the yard.

But don't give up hope! Keep checking the shelters, PetFinder, PetHarbor, etc.

You both are in my prayers.

Linda

Joe, I can just imagine the ache in your heart...
But don't give up hope....Huggybear may be found or
may just show up one day at the door.
I will pray and send many positive thoughts that he
finds his way home..
Sending hugs,
Joan

oh no, I know how you feel, I lost Bear for 4 days once. I could not eat or sleep. It sounds like you have done all you can do. Do check around your house again, look everywhere even where you think he may not be. Bluie got herself shut in our cubboards once. They can get in places you would not believe.. check all closets, drawers, cupboards, underthings, garage, under the house. Inside cartons boxes, behind or in dryer , keep us posted. I hope you find him soon, set out his favorite food and kitty bed etc.. so he can smell it and find his way home..

OH, I am so sorry :(I was hoping to see a good news update. Please don't give up hope yet, Maddie got out once for 5 days and came back like nothing happened (excpet a little dirt rolling) and I know others here have had the same thing happen. Keeping my fingers crossed he comes home safe and sound.

Don't give up, as others have commented, this does happen and more
often than not they return. Keep on looking for your darling Huggybear.

Oh my, I am so sorry to hear about Huggybear. He is beautiful. As the others said, leave out food and search the immediate vicinity alot, hopefully he is scared and hiding somewhere. Oh I do hope you find him, I will say lots of prayers for his safe return.

I'm just checking to see if Huggybear is home yet. :(
I am waiting to hear that he is sitting by your door one of these nights. And soon.:heart:

I'm so sorry. He is just beautiful. I would be calling his name over and over and putting his food out. Also, you might want check Petfinder.com in your area. His picture may actually show up there if he's taken to a shelter. Keep us posted so we know when he comes home. :):cat:
