Rae say's Joey sent her to us and she is her cat. Rae went to a feral cat site to find out the steps we need to take to prepare her to live in a house with other fur kids.

The Save-a-step employees said there are customers who wanted to take her home but couldn't catch her so we made a flyer and left my phone number with the employees... Rae is hoping and praying that when they see what needs to be done to rehab her they will change their minds about wanting her.

I also told Rae I want to move her and the create (it's stacked on top of Ellies create) out of the kitchen and into her room where it's quieter and where we can let her out supervised, but she has to clean up the clutter and remove any dangerous hiding places.

Yesterday when I vaccumed out the create, I handed Lucy to her and told her to go into the laundry room and shut the door so the noise wouldn't frighten her.
You should have seen the look I got as she reminded me "Mom!!! she can't hear the vaccume cleaner, she's deaf

Now dont think i am being a downer But please remember i beg of you until you know make sure that the kitty doesnt have felv or feline aids or any other nasties, as you dont want to intergrate her into the household if she is carrying anything. i would hate for anyone of your babies to get sick. It may be different there but here in Oz we quarantine kitties for 3 months before intros are made especially with ferals. If she is using a litter tray i bet she has come from a home and just dumped because she was pregnant the first time. And seeing as she is expecting again she could have caught something from a tomcat. I really really really hope she is ok and passes the health test.

Because no one has responded to the flyer and she is ready to explore outside the crate I'm having her tested today... I'm praying she is negative.... I do not know what I will do if she's positive
