I know Dolly would have been there twice last year..
once when she was dragging the leg in September....meds and exam..probably
around $250.

Then in December..for a uinary infection....I know the exact amount of that
one as I had used the company debit card to pay...and I was just working on the
books , $134.14..exam and meds....

These vet visits were all in her late 16th year...

Ok, I'll start with the most expensive! Obviously George's bills are not typical of a yearly spend, but this is how much I have spent this year so far.

Mr George Bengal, 11 years old, £6,000.00 Testing, diagnosis and treatment for intestinal lymphoma.

Trebek, 8 years old, £500.00 Testing and treatment for upper respiratory disease, and boosters.

Jessica, 8 years old, £400.00 Dental work, and boosters.

Magnus, 6 years old, £45.00 Boosters.

Freddie, 5 years old, £45.00 Boosters.

Molly-Alice, 3 years old, £45.00 Boosters.

Well george clearly wins the prize.

And that is just from October last year until now....
I do have insurance, but only had a limit of £2,000 per condition per year, which up until now was fine for day to day vets bills. Seeing a specialist is a whole different story. I have now increased all the kitties cover to £6,000 per condition per year, but for George's existing condition my limit is still £2,000. I also have to make a 35% co payment because of his age, but some cover is better than none!

Well I've only had Miracle for 6 months but when she had that eye problem it was 45.00 and her health check when she first got here was free. My vet only charges for meds, etc. He doesn't charge an office call.
