Here are some helpful instructions on how to share pictures of your furry friends.

Start by creating your own album within our Media Gallery and then upload your photos and videos into it. Media Gallery: https://persian-cats.com/cpg/.

OPTION 1
1) After you've uploaded your photo or video within the Media Gallery, go view that photo/video within the album and right-click on the photo. When the box pops up, click on Properties. Within the Properties box, you should see something like "Address/URL" that tells the exact location of the image file. Copy that Address/URL. (To copy, highlight the URL with your mouse then either right-click and choose Copy OR use Ctrl + C.)

2) Come back into the forum to create a post. Within your post, paste the URL. (To paste, right-click and choose Paste OR use Ctrl + V.)

3) Once the image URL is in the body of your message, highlight the entire URL. Now do you see all the style buttons above your message? Click on the one that says "Img". (Remember, your image URL should still be highlighted as you click the Img button.) You should see some little img tags appear around your URL.

4) If you are finished composing your message, click the "Preview" button to verify that your photo is displaying properly. If it is, click Submit!

OPTION 2
This is an alternate way to share photos. (Note: If you've set your album permissions as viewable by "Me Only", this method will not work!)
1) After you've uploaded your photo or video within the Media Gallery, go view that photo/video within the album and scroll down to the "File Information" section on the page. Highlight and copy the URL within that section.
2) Come back into the forum to create a post. Within your post, paste the page URL.
3) Once the page URL is in the body of your message, highlight the entire URL. Click on the "URL" button located among the style buttons above. You should see some little url tags appear around your page URL.
4) If you are finished composing your message, click the Preview button to verify that your page URL appears as a hyperlink. If it does, click Submit!
When people click on the link within your post, it will redirect them to that photo/video's page in your album where they can enter comments and perhaps browse among your other media!
