Yes, this would be perfect. Every time I say "Dilute Calico" or "Blue Smoke" they just stare at me. And yes, they usually write "GREY" Turds.

Poor Isabel! Snugs for your baby. I'm here to tell ya Persian colds ARE a big deal. Sounds like you are really on top of this though. Hope she is feeling better soon!

Hmm, Hope you can find a different vet! I just had to use the closest most available place too. They put Angel down as domestic short hair.

I actually have a better vet, but her practice is ~1 hour from my house in the opposite direction from where I work and I can't make it from here to there in time.

So, I have a vet in town who is back-up vet #1. He's good -- very Western medicine with all the toys. He also gives me breaks on costs because I do adopt pathetic cats. And, the biggie, he and I agree to disagree on raw food. Vet -- I like. Receptionist -- hmmm

Well, I didn't get to see the main vet, but the new lady vet -- Megan. Not bad. I think with a bit of training, I can work with her.  She listened, explained, and adjusted medication based on my concerns. It's always nice to see a vet with something not so serious and see how they operate. She doesn't "use steriods unless necessary as with allergies". Yep, trainable...

Anyway, Isabel has an URI. I know, shock. (She agreed with my diagnosis. :D ) The vet was also thrilled that I prefered pills over liquid, so Isabel is on Clavamox pills for 10 days and eye ointment. Eye drops -- good. Eye ointment -- not good -- I need to figure out how to get the stuff IN her eyes and not all over her. :?

Hope Isabel feels better soon! Putting drops in Winston's eyes is sooo hard (such a flat face). Alaska is a bit easier w/eye drops tho she gets  when I attempt to put them in! Hope Isabel is a better patient than my 2 P's!

I've done the eye ointment before, so not fun..but amazingly,
most of the time it does get in there and off the applicater
Haha, I like how you say this new vet is "trainable"

Give Isabel snugs and chin scratches from Dolly and me!
